In the hands of a fine musician like Andreas, the nuances and dynamics of a piece can be taken to levels that few instruments can achieve. The bellows is much like the bow on a violin or breathe control on a flute.

I am new to harp but I have a country tuned harp. I love it for playing melodies like Georgia on my mind. Also I can bend hole 5 down and still get that minor 7th.

I’m so sorry that I missed this. I loved this band in ‘85/‘86 & saw them open for Loverboy that winter … Loverboy had a hard-time following the Hooters set. It’s also nice to see Hohner hanging-in there.

I think the super 64 provides a better sound! But the 64x is still cool kind of want both

Don't know about this "industry standard" stuff. The specs show that it is powerful (45,000 ohms) but the frequency range is 22 - 16,000 Hz and the frequency response graph shows it has no midrange "bump" (more of a wide range "mound"), that means very bright with only so so distortion and "balls". Like most currently made harmonica microphones, it tries to be all things to all people but for blues harmonica it's kinda lame. Also don't like the XLR. But hey, if you want to spend $150 on up for a microphone that couldn't come close to a $40 powerhouse 50,000 ohm early 1960s Japanese dynamic blues harp mike then go for it. PS: no demo? Does it sound that bad?

It sounds good, but chromatic harmonica is not his thing. A good chromatic harmonica player doesn't use harmonicas in different tunings, he uses the button.
